Family Shoots:
My family shoots are done outdoors on location (year round!) or in home. I am less about “look at the camera and say cheese” and more about capturing authentic moments, emotion, love, and the energy/dynamic of your family. You will of course have some photos where everyone is looking and smiling but my goal is more to capture your family in a way that will make you feel something when you look back at these photos. I will guide you and prompt you to try and create authentic moments. We have fun and I love to let the kids be kids. I would say I’m a hybrid between all story telling and all posed shots, which means you get the perfect variety. Styling service and assistance is provided.
Newborn Shoots:
I come to your home ideally within the first couple of weeks after the baby is born. Up to 3 months is considered a newborn shoot. I bring everything needed for the baby to wear during the shoot, you only have to worry about dressing the family. Parents and siblings are included during the shoot. I am very simple in my prop use and try to keep photos as natural as possible. I will pose the baby but I will also do a lot of lifestyle and natural feeling shots capturing all the baby details and love within your new family dynamic. You get a good mix of posed and lifestyle shots.
Maternity Shoots:
I recommend doing these between 32-36 weeks. They are done outdoors on location, in home, or in studio (in studio is only for the mom to be the other options can include partner and other children). I can help with styling. I love to capture the beauty of pregnancy, as its such a special time in life. When partners are included I love to capture the love and connection between you as you are waiting to welcome a beautiful life into your hearts.
Branding/Content Shoots:
These are great and essential to professionals. Social and web presence is everything these days. I like to do these outdoors in natural settings but can also do in home or in office if it applies to your brand. We usually do 3 outfit changes and capture you in a way to best represent you and your brand. It includes headshots as well as action and lifestyle shots.
Couples/Engagements:
These are done outdoors on location or in home. I will capture the love and energy between the couple and we will have fun while doing it. It will be casual and laid back and I will help prompt authentic moments between you to capture beautiful candid moments. I try to be less posed and more action and authentic to really showcase your personality as a couple.
Events:
I shoot everything from baptisms, to sweet 16s, weddings, birthdays, and everything in between. I am not the photographer you want if you like staged and traditional photos like “table shots” but if you like lots of candids to document the day and capture the energy and happiness of the occasion then I am for you.
