So I've really fallen in love with the fitness world. I began working out regularly almost 2 years ago and what began as a healthy habit turned into a fascination of what your body can do if you keep pushing. Getting stronger is an addiction. I've met a lot of people and have had some fun doing lots of fitness shoots. I love coming up with wacky ideas for them to do to demonstrate their strength on camera. This shoot was with Michelle who is beautiful, strong as hell, and also a super bendy yogi. We had lots of fun and she was willing to do all sorts of craziness including climbing a rusty iron post in the Hudson River and doing an arm balance on it.
gorgeouuuusssssss. Was so nice to connect with an old friend. She truly got my vision and helped me nail it. Her beauty is captivating.
I absolutely love cloudy skies and also love the ocean. Doing this shoot and being able to capture both along with my beautiful subject was just awesome.
October - a month so heavily associated with Halloween, costumes, and monsters. But also a month to remember a monster we can't cover up with a mask. A real monster that so many people face. Breast cancer.
Some beat it, many are defeated by it. For an estimated 40,000 who will die from it in 2014, this monster has intruded into their lives.
To honor them and a very special woman who I hold dear to my heart and am lucky to call family, for every shoot BOOKED in the month of October, I will DONATE 10% of all profits to Susan G Komen to help in the continuing fight against breast cancer. The actual shoot can take place any time until the end of 2015.
Thank you for your support - this is for all the women and men suffering from breast cancer. They are not alone in their fight.
